Cheesemaking
I have a lot of weird hobbies I guess. The latest one is cheese making. I got a book called Home Cheese Making by Ricki Carrol and tried out the recipe for cheddar. It's really not that hard, it just takes time and attention, but check it out! It's for real cheese! The first one is the pressed cheese wheel drying. The second one is after it was waxed. The third one is the cheese press I built to squeeze out the extra whey. Pretty cool.

Ok, so a couple things:
1) That is freaking awesome.
2) What is different about the recipe for cheddar?
3) Is there a special wax for this?
4) How long does it have to age?
5) Is there any left? I wanna try some!
why are you so cool!! that is so ingenious. much better than your first attempt at cheese making.
